Get In Gear
2007 Corporate Team of the Year

DRC had
46 corporate team members in the 2007 Get in Gear
Thanks
to Data Recognition Corporation of Maple Grove for
making it possible to send Second Harvest Heartland over
$4,000 in 2007 for their initiative in coupling their
Healthy Measures program with their campaign for the
Second Harvest Food and Fund Drive.
Data
Recognition Corporation also collected 1,277 pounds of
food at their corporate offices for the Get In Gear
Second Harvest Heartland food drive.
We are
pleased to showcase DRC as our 2007 Get in Gear
Corporate team of the year. DRC’s employees
worked together (led by both their Wellness Coordinator
and Marketing Department) to raise over $2,072.00
which Get in Gear proudly matched.
Data
Recognition Corporation’s Healthy Measures program is
dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of all
employees and their families by providing education,
programs, and policies that promote a culture of
wellness.

"I think
the biggest factor in our success was the coupling of
the Get in Gear Wellness Campaign with the Second
Harvest Drive. People who didn’t want to
participate in the race felt they had a way to
participate through donating. DRC believes
wellness is about physical well-being, but also the
larger sense of wellness that comes from generosity and
helping a good cause. The 2007 DRC wellness
initiatives are stressing the mind-body connection and
we are seeing growing participation in corporate
volunteering in addition to more employees interested in
physical wellness."

"Thanks for putting the race on this year. The race turned out great
and the Seagate team enjoyed running in the corporate challenge. I
am definitely looking forward to next year's race! By the way, its
one of the best run races that I have ever done and this includes
major Bike, Inline, Ski and Running races around the midwest."
"Thanks for making the corporate involvement so fun and efficient!
Everybody had so much fun and are excited to do it again next year!"
The Corporate Get in Gear division is a
division that will allow the corporate participants to be pulled out of
the overall results for a separately awarded corporate results division
(but also included in the overall results).
These results will be posted on our
results page with the overall results and awards
will be
distributed accordingly.
All corporate teams must have one
team captain who will enter the company as part of the corporate
division. After the team captain registers,
then all team members can
register and join the corporate team.
Team Captains: If your company will
absorb the cost of all of your team entries, you must contact the Get in Gear Race Director for set-up of a coupon code to allow your
corporate participants to register without payment. A coupon
code will be issued to any corporation processing a minimum of 10
registrations. .
